I needed a truckload of dirt for a raised flower bed... 16 tons is a lot of dirt but I was quite surprised that I needed it all. Blue Max sells a few different blends of dirt and their web site easily explains what each is intended for and how to estimate how much you need. I wanted the 'Garden Max' blend. I gave them a call and they answered I think on the second ring. Scheduling was a breeze. Because of the weather, however, I rescheduled twice and both times Blue Max's response was "that's not a problem".
The delivery driver was quite a pleasant fellow and knew what he was doing. He dumped the dirt as close to the flower bed as we could safely get the truck. A couple days later, I received a call from Blue Max asking if I was satisfied with the delivery. That follow-up was quite different from the level of service I'm used to. I've already recommended Blue Max to a complete stranger who I overheard talking about needing fill dirt, and I will continue to do so.
I used Blue Max Materials 2 weeks ago for a load of pea gravel. They were super and I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly. They were quick to respond to my request and came in two days of me calling. They were on time, were very professional and provided exactly what I asked for.
I ordered mulch for my entire yard and large beds (one full truckload) and materials to build a paver patio: pavers, base, sand, snap-edge, etc.
The experience was great. I went to Blue Max Materials in Indian Trail to gather ideas. The showroom displays all the paver types and colors. They provide me estimates based upon my square footage for all the materials and provided me and easy to understand pricing guide. What was even better the paver expert provided me a low-cost contact to install the patio for me. Blue Max delivered the materials to the location in my yard that I requested and the quality of material is superb. I have used their mulch for a couple of years now (double-hammered) and it is the best conditioner for your plant beds and the color looks great.
We went to the facility and I chose double hammered hard wood mulch. They delivered it within 48 hours. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent service provider and company.
I bought 22 tons of uncleaned fill dirt, 4 tons of stacking stones, and 30 cubic yards of mulch. I bought it over a two month period, had it delivered one truck-load at a time, as I had to spread it myself on weekends.
I bought in person the first three times at the Westinghouse Road site, then over the phone the fourth time. Delivery was scheduled right then, at times that were convenient for me, and deliveries were all made as promised. I am very satisfied with Blue Max, and will certainly buy from them again.
The variety of pavers and stone that they offer was great. We found some paver stones we wanted to use for our project. They were very helpful and friendly.
I called them to get a quote for gravel to fill in my back patio. They were able to do this easily with me providing them with the measurements. The person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and helpful. They delivered a ton and a half of gravel on time. It was exactly what I expected. The guy who delivered was polite.
